ALS, 1931 May 13, Carmel-By-The Sea, to Paul Landacre, Los Angeles.

Weston writes to Landacre acknowledging receipt of his prints "California Hills." He says he will deliver them to Jeffers but not to be too optomistic about his writing a foreword as "he is swamped with request. ...Anyhow, one can be a great poet, and not have a critical plastic sense...In the meantime I have placed the prints with Denny Watrous not to miss a chance for sale."
